There are no safe side-effect-free medical cures for what is commonly called 'stress' despite claims by some companies. Because the source of stress is internal, the most effective cures are found inside ourselves

Why should I read this?

People who consider themselves 'stressed' to varying degrees tend to be less effective in their daily dealings with others, either at work or in their personal life.

The effects of stress on health have been richly documented by scientific research, and it is now well known that stress goes hand in hand with sleeplessness, higher occurrences of disease & lower immune system response, diminished quality of life, low energy, symptoms of depression, moodiness, heightened levels of anxiety, higher incidence of headaches and body disfunction etc…

Stress takes a toll not only on individuals but on communities as well. Have you noticed that it is even fashionable in certain circles to be too busy or 'stressed'? The communities we spend most of our time with do influence our thinking and our definition of who we are and how we feel in a profound way. People who live together affect each other, and responses such as stress tend to spread between their members like fire in a forest.

One very little known fact about language is that it does not only describe the external world as we see it but very often, determines it as well. Stress is a generic word that is widely used but which hides many different realities for different people. The very first step is to recognise what hides behind the word, what it means FOR YOU, becoming aware of we call "stress in the mind'.

Think!

You would wash your hands before a meal would you not? How can we also clean our mind AND our internal physiology from the invisible viruses that create a range of unwanted outcomes such as those listed above?

So what is this all about?
